One of the most common ways to consume CBD oil is using oil tinctures. The drops are taken using a dropper and dispensing a few drops of oil under the tongue (sublingually). CBD oil is usually composed of CBD and a carrier oil, such as coconut, MCT or hemp seed oil. Some tinctures may contain other ingredients, such as vegetable glycerin, and/or flavoring.
Many people prefer to use CBD oil tinctures because it’s the fastest acting when taken orally and they are an easy way to consume CBD throughout the day. They are easy to measure and to adjust the dose. Oils can be added to food or drinks or taken directly in the mouth.
The expected effects will usually take place within 20 to 40 minutes.
